Were there any special offers on the MBP at Machines, such as the infamous Free Targus Bag? I am planning to get a 2.2Ghz MBP myself, but i'm waiting for MacWorld 08.

the targus bag cannot exchange for something more useful? i.e. Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 or other software.

I need Microsoft office for Mac as my lecturers require me to hand in my work in Microsoft Office Documents.

Would it be cheaper to purchase a copy of Windows XP and install my current Microsoft Office on it or simply get Office for Mac?

i've come across Mac Office 2004 on my school's Macs and my lecturers all use Mac Office. The functions and features seem pretty much identical except for a slight difference in the interface.

i read that Microsoft is launching Mac Office 2008 beginning of next year, and that any purchase of Mac Office 2004 now gets a free upgrade to Office 2008, not sure if that applies in Asia.

awww... too bad. its a good thing i'm waiting for Mac Office 2008 though. How much are they selling Mac Office 04 now back in M'sia?
