you can actually download the iWork 08 version from APPLE to try it out.
Thereafter, you make up your mind to choose AppleWork or Ms Office.

okay so i'm studying at UiTM and am now planning to buy a macbook specifically for studies. personally, i consider myself mostly an apple virgin. the only apple products i have is my ipod nano. i've never ever used a mac ever before, be it a desktop or a macbook. so i really need advice on which hardware should i buy? which is worth my money? which is better for a student with a limited budget?

thanks in advance guys.

grab one that is within your budget (most importantly)... either it's a desktop or notebook.
if there is a Mac shop near you, go check it out... and throw any Qs to the staffs there, i believe they are there for you always.

You bet you will love it very much after you explore it more with it. Cos i am..... when i first explore it at Mac Shop. rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Unfortunately iPhoto doesn't let you add text onto photos.
Why don't you try Seashore or Acorn. Or if you want a more powerful editor why don't you try Photoshop?
thanks for the info....
