Not sure if this question have been asked here.

I have a somewhat "big" problem. My OSX doesn't "refresh" by itself.
E.g I download a zip file to my Desktop. When the download is complete, it doesn't show in my Desktop. Even when i unzip the file thru the Firefox download box, the contain still doesn't show in my Desktop.

I got myself a temporary fix, a "refresh" AppleScript. But then i don't wish to manually refresh all the time. Before this i sort of quit the finder and relaunch it.. zzz both are troublesome method.

Any idea why my OSX doesn't auto refresh?

Is this suppose to be a joke? U don't use Windows version of Game and try to run in on OSX.

Guess that you ain't used to your Epal thus not using it eh..... try to spare some time and look for Mac version of software that you wish to use. Picking up the "skills" to use a MacBook is kinda easy... 2 finger on the touchpad = scroll etc etc... hmm.. how convenient it can get

Yo man, cross the causeway to SG . Tons of units on display.

I think there is a shop in Landmark that seems to carry Apple, also there is a shop in Tmn U that says that they can help to order Macs product.

Just rephrasing Raven_lee's question.

Will office programs like word, excel and powerpoint run properly on macbook pro?

Also, how easy is it to switch from windows to mac? Is the mac really as hassle free as advertised? Am not a power user, just need a machine with a beautiful screen that runs fast.

There are MAC version of Microsoft Office.
Though i believe most of us here is using OpenOffice or other opensource, which might have some formatting/layout issue with MS Office.

Hassle free, erm.. well yeah. Everything is quite simple with MAC OSX. You just need some time to get used to it.
