*sigh* really want Macbook Pro, but WAY to expensive... not that i cant afford but never used Mac before, so for me to get a MBP is waste... need to start low first... either MB or iMac...

dood... get HP... dont get Dell... using Dell PC for 5 years now (i think, more or less 5 years) and have Dell printer for about 2-3 years... At the moment, Dell printer doesnt detect colour ink anymore, and detects black in but cant print with it (basically, cant print AT ALL)... PC also sent for repair twice oredi coz cooling fan malfunctioned both times... i brought to PC shop and they told me its spoilt, i thot they trying to make quick cash, but a few days later it spoilt... sent them an e-mail and they still dint reply yet... get HP dood... easier to get HP accessories too compared to Dell... must order everything! (or go to that ONE shop they have in Megamall)... im not trying to convince u... just advising... This post has been edited by almattitude_v1: Mar 2 2008, 09:07 PM |

I asked Machines if its possible to upgrade my specs, and they said that they would need to order it for me and it would take about 4-6 weeks. Coz i was thinking of getting a white MacBook but with 250GB hard disk... Dont really like the black... It looks alright from the top, but the keypads and all dont really look nice in black... However, they couldn't give me a price estimate...

was initially planning to get Mac... but i dono abt the College supporting Mac, etc... So for now, I'm gona play it safe (mainly because Mac's are expensive) and get a Vaio or something... later on I will see la... if the Uni support Mac, then sell my laptop and get a Mac...

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jul 21 2008, 11:28 AM) @almattitude_v1, expensive in a sense, i dono if I will be using or not... if i get vaio, i noe that software-wise, it will be fully compatible... as for Mac, i'm not sure...I don't know where U got the idea that Mac's are expensive [well it isn't cheap but it isn't expensive when Ur comparing it with a Vaio] QUOTE(rx330 @ Jul 21 2008, 11:31 AM) aiks... end of the day u get a vaio? Vaio not good ah? other people tell me that Dell isn't good, LOL... i also dono la...if its rather tat case, rather u get a cheap notebook like dell, so later on u stil can buy another mac im still currently using my vaio, but..... yucks..... If i can confirm that Mac is 100% useful for me, then I will no doubt get a Mac... but i dono... and its cheaper here rite compared to Australia? see la... leaving this friday... gota decide ASAP... QUOTE ![]() It's no shock that Apple plans to update the MacBook Pro sometime soon, and these casing designs are starting to look like the real thing. AppleInsider says that it has received confirmation that the leaked images are in fact authentic, and we can safely say that the new design will include some minor, yet welcome design tweaks. Of most interest is a release latch that provides access to both the battery and hard drive. AppleInsider speculates that the easy HDD access could lead to an available SSD for the MacBook pro, which would only make sense. Finally, the illuminated Apple logo remains, and a more tapered design a-la MacBook Air is in the cards. |

At first I thought get something cheap like Vaio CR... Low-end is cheap at RM3,488, but specs lousy la and high-end is RM 4,488... but then add about extra RM100, can get mid-range Macbook already (altho, specs are lower)... I think what I'll do is get a mid-range Macbook... then if anything in the future, I just sell it off and get Macbook Pro la (if I need MBP)...
