QUOTE(-Jonathan- @ Nov 5 2007, 11:58 PM) I've got iStatspro as one of my widget, and if there is one thing that worries me, is the fact that my notebook jacks up the temperature to about 72 degrees when i'm programming or really utilizing the computer's resources. My friend that's studying computer architecture believes that any computer that goes beyond 70 degrees is actually pushing the computer's limit. that fuzzy noise is fan sound, it's start turning faster,Normal surfing, usage of the computer will hover the temperature at about 72 degrees. Even putting itunes on visualization will stress the computer out..makes some fuzzy noisy wizzy turning sound...anyone know that there will be side effects fort this high temperature problem tilt ur macbook a bit, so that hot air can go out at the back, might help for a few degree lowers.. |

QUOTE(LeoDaVinci @ Nov 6 2007, 11:45 PM) I bought the latest Macbook. It comes with Leopard. did you switch on the time machine???However, I notice that my Macbook is rather laggish. In fact, it hang twice already since I got it yesterday. I have to press and hold the start button to switch it off. Sometimes when I open aMSN it freezes also. Is this due to the fact that aMSN latest version is still not that stable? And I wanna ask how long does it usually take to load NeoOffice or maybe Word? Mine takes quite long to load....sweat... Ohya...my MB temp is usually 60C. I hope this is considered normal. :-) |

QUOTE(LeoDaVinci @ Nov 6 2007, 11:56 PM) No. I didn't buy any external harddisk. I'm also using that msn. Its sometimes restart. But that not the reason your leopard hang.BTW, my aMSN closed unexpectedly again. I quite like the latest version of aMSN because it looks like the real MSN Messengser on Windows. But it's not that stable...so shitty la~~~ |

QUOTE(-Jonathan- @ Nov 7 2007, 07:27 AM) I dont know about leopard, but a little on my experience with neo office would be its occasional closing. he he he last questions, did u do upgrade or clean install???Actually not occasional, only that one time when i was doing my presentation, whilst doing, the whole thing just shuts off, entirely wiping off my whole data that was inputted, and yes, it takes time to load the program itself. My comp temperature can sit at about 40-50 when idle. I doubt there's problem with internal fan, i just have worries when i do program or perform some graphical amendments to my project that it heats up for hours I'm facing leopard hang when I update from tiger to leopard, after I do clean install it never hang again |
