Whats up with Apple Malaysia marking up the prices of their product? I just checked out the MBPro (15") and the price over here is about 500 USD more than the US pricing with Edu discount (1800 USD) -- even the singapore store is marked up by about 300 USD -- with that amount of extra money I could buy an ipod.
Completely ridiculous with the price inflation -- and I heard there is no computer tax over here?

QUOTE(vintec @ Jan 20 2008, 09:22 AM) i couldnt get warranty claim from my own mishandling, could i? all i can hope now is the colour of the keycaps starts to fade, so i have a legit reason to claim warranty as this happens to a lot of mbp keyboards.
Yeah you probably could; just say you don't know what happened I remember my ipod splashed into the water before; I went into the apple store in Atlanta and I told them my ipod wasn't working anymore. I told them it just wouldn't turn on. No more questions asked, they replaced it on the spot. Now thats service.
