After 1+ week used of magsafe adapter, my adapter is turning into yellowish. i do believe the heating is causing the adapter turn into yellowish. do yo think is defective or usually like that?

Does anyone know if using those silicone keyboard covers will adversely affect the MBP's cooling ?

Did Apple design for the keyboard gaps to be air vents to help in cooling ?
*
i try to answer your question. i see casepda are selling silicon keyboard protector that have small hole for your macbook to breath. i do believe the gaps are mean for air vents from casepda product blush.gif

funny thing ... using the MBP without the power adapter plugged-in is much cooler ..
but when plugged in and the CPU runs full speed (max performance) .. wah .... HOT !!
*
good one. does someone know how to limit the processor usage like limited the full speed of the processor?

in Windows, there are times when PnP actually means "plug and pray".  biggrin.gif

that's true only when in 9x/ME time. Now with XP & Vista everything should work as advertise.

I also read from the support site, it says "For best performance, fill both memory slots, installing an equal memory module in each slot." How true is this ?
*
It called Dual Channel DDR. it will gain a little performance gain according to the white paper.
