QUOTE(mugenfoo @ Jul 25 2008, 12:30 AM) Does anyone know if using those silicone keyboard covers will adversely affect the MBP's cooling ? i try to answer your question. i see casepda are selling silicon keyboard protector that have small hole for your macbook to breath. i do believe the gaps are mean for air vents from casepda product Did Apple design for the keyboard gaps to be air vents to help in cooling ? |

QUOTE(mugenfoo @ Jul 25 2008, 11:31 PM) funny thing ... using the MBP without the power adapter plugged-in is much cooler .. good one. does someone know how to limit the processor usage like limited the full speed of the processor?but when plugged in and the CPU runs full speed (max performance) .. wah .... i finally get my macbook in clamshell mode. here how it works for my macbook.
you have to plug in your ac adapter, and external display (turn off display mirroring). close the lid and plug in the keyboard and mouse, and you now in clamshell mode. |
