You still having same problem ?

Just buying new mi TV p1 55'. I use unifi 30mbps. Other apps such youtube, spotify can open easily using unifi (wifi)

My problem same as yours. Use my phone internet and hotspot it to TV , netflix can open easily.

I use wifi and lan cable also no use. Already reset factory TV, try DNS, call netflix, call unifi also.

Other devices i can open netflix easily such as my macbook, iphone. no problem at all. the only problem is the TV.

Did 55' TV consume too much internet and 30mbps cannot sustain to open netflix ? The weird thing other apps can open. Anddd using phone hotspot can open netflix easily.

Its weirddd. Im thinking of upgrading the unifi speed but its think its not worth due to just 2 person in the housee. If anyone got any idea pls tell here and share with us.

It seems like your Unifi 30 Mbps bandwidth is now shared with many devices in your home...hence it may cause a bandwidth issue with the Netflix app's minimum speed requirement for its video quality setting. You can try changing the video quality setting in the Netflix app.

High definition (HD) 720p: 3 Mbps or higher

Full high definition (FHD) 1080p: 5 Mbps or higher

Ultra high definition (UHD) 4K: 15 Mbps or higher

Bro, what was your solution? i'm experience the same problem as you right now...

It is an Internet bandwidth-related issue that affects the video streaming experience.

The Netflix app on mobile devices automatically adjusts its video quality to match the available bandwidth and will optimize its bandwidth use if data saving is set automatically. However, the Netflix app on smart TVs does not automatically adjust the video quality, so you need to change the video quality settings to improve the video streaming experience.

In TS's scenario, where using a mobile hotspot (via mobile ISP Internet) for the smart TV seems to have improved his Netflix experience on the smart TV, I suspect that his mobile hotspot has sufficient bandwidth at that time. Unless TS has stated otherwise, this is the most likely explanation.

Use the Netflix fast.com website or Netflix app to check Internet speed to its servers under Help > Check Your Network (Android TV) or App Settings > Diagnostics > Check Network (Android). You may need to check the Internet for iPhone/iPad/Mac's solution.

Another easily forgotten setting is to make sure your device's time zone is using the correct time.

I used to have the same issue too, particularly if the movie was not hosted in local cnd

Switched to maxis and have not had the same problem since

CND? Do you mean CDN, I assume?
