How to test... Test what?
1. If u want to see the maximum amperage of the psu rails, short circuit the rails to a giant variable resistor. Reduce resistance slowly and watch amperage increase until PSU shut down or explode. That will show u maximum amperage. 2. If u wanna see potential energy, run a program that displays rail voltage (eg. speedfan) After 15 minutes, take note the voltages, then stress your pc and take note the voltages after the stressing is done for 15 minutes. You need to leave it alone for a while to have stable voltage... Blah blah blah... 3. Maximum power? P=VI. 4. Else just see whether your sistem is stable or not when running games. If hang, take note of the crashed minidump files and troubleshoot it. This post has been edited by ff7yta: Aug 27 2007, 03:51 PM |
