Hi everyone,

Due to the corona, my parents cannot swim in clubhouse, they used to swim everyday. And now they are interested in golf after only walking outdoors under the sun for about one full year. They can walk in golf course instead. I think that's a good idea because there are new coronavirus variants all over the world, we don't know whether the corona era will end or we have to live with corona, if not forever, in at least our lifetime.

The problem is how to learn and play golf safely? Anyone who knows modified full swing/good lessons online for seniors?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't recommend, if you swing wrongly you'll injure your back. It's better to get a real coach to learn how to swing correctly. Online lessons can't really give much constructive feedback whether a beginner is doing it right or wrong.

On the flip side, looking for a coach during this time sounds like a bad idea too. Learn other sports.

Perhaps can approach condo mgmt to reopen the pool since swimming activities have resumed nationwide.

Oh thanks. I agree. Lesson in person is better for correct swing. I am in my 40's and I already have mobility problems to perform a correct PRO-like swing.

Very limited number of sports are for seniors to learn. Better learning sports on the earlier stages of life.
