Hi guys,
I just bought an Ixus 900 TI. The problem is, whenever I shoot outdoor photos with sunlight, the image appears to be too bright. Can't even see the face or scenery, the screen just cover with light. I use auto setting. But indoor is okay.

Any possible setting?

Thanks.

Your picture might be over-exposed. If you're a beginner, pls use the mode selection in the scenery mode. You can use auto-mode as well biggrin.gif

Hi, I will try tomorow. It only happens whenever there is sunlight. I will upload a sample as well. Thanks.

Did u see the pictures through your LCD or computer screen? Pictures will look bright if u view them on the LCD in bright conditions.
Check your ISO setting also... it should be 100.
Make sure you are not using flash at close range

Did these solve your problem?

Sorry for the late reply. The problem is not due to any setting. Just received my camera after sending it to Canon for repair. 2 mainboards and 1 Optical Unit spoilt cost about RM800+. Lucky still have 2 months warranty left rclxms.gif

Thanks all the support. Just couldn't believe it spoilt less than 1000 shots.
