im back with another query on memory OC.

in 11th gen, lower speed best with gear 1, and higher then 3600mhz above with gear 2.

have anyone tested the different?

on 12th gen, gear still valid? as higher speed setting.. more then 4000mhz i know.

11th gen play with gear1 + low latency. Sweet spot is 3800c14. Gear2 if youre not hitting 5000+ mhz then performance will suffer compared to 3800c14 gear1

12th gen if DDR5 of course gear2. Anything above 6000mhz with c30 is plenty good. Should be 50+ ns.
If DDR4 it is identical to 11th gen.

the intel overclocking utility, only can install for K series cpu right? i just wan use it for monitoring..

K CPU can be use on B. Just that you cannot do tuning on many settings. Have to be careful with VRM too. Many B660 boards isn't great on that department.

New B660 ITX arriving soon. Biostar B660GTN at RM779. Better than Asrock.

No wifi card and no USB-C. HDMI got.

Wifi card is easy to come by. Thats not an issue.

The USB-C is a good compromise for the price if it perform good. Can still use the USB-C port at the front of the case.
