Saya beli used car myvi lagi best se tapi ada masalah kereta bergegar bila speeding 80kmh ke atas.. Tapi stereng tak bergegar.. Body je yg bgegar...

Saya dah hantar buat allignment dan wheel balancing dan pomen inform rim ada gelong dan saya tgk ada bnyak pelekat timah kat rim hampir separuh bulatan rim terutama bahagian depan kanan... Kalau byk pelekat timah tu maknanya rim kita gelong teruk ke?

Saya beli kereta ni mmg da siap dgn sport rim 15 inci (bukan rim original perodua) dan tak de center cone. Ada org cakap salah 1 punca kreta begegar disebabkan tak pakai center cone bila tukar rim sport. Betul ke?

Selain rim gelong dan tiada center cone, ada punca yg lain tak yg boleh sebabkan kreta bgegar atas 80kmh.... Mounting absorber, mounting enjin 1 set dan absorber link saya da tukar tapi masih gegar jugak.

Harap kalian dpt bantu saya

cheapest borrow a set from fren or just buy 2nd ori rim with tyre and try.

Kalau pelekat timah terlalu banyak macam you cakap, rim tuh dah rosak teruk. Baik you pergi beli rim second pasang dan tengok macam mana.

Try tukar rim dulu. Pinjam rim kwn.
Myb rim penah bengkok but tak fix dengan betul.

either your rims in bad condition or your engine mounting kaput already.
i would change rims first.

Boleh pinjam rim dari wokshop. Test kalo ok beli la je

What the heck is pelekat timah? You meam those small weights that is used to balance the rim weight?

Firstly, if there is really ALOT of those weight, then whoever installed your tyre is a dumbass who dosent rotate the rubber to the lightest point to the heaviest point of the rim, to minimise the need for it.

2nd possibility, your rim is out of true, bengkok abit, which sounds more plausible given you said only noticable at higher speed, an untrue wheel will wobble, shake.

Also, high chance it’s your rear wheel, because u say the steering wheel does not vibrate, if frontwheel is out of true, then steering wobble is very noticeable.

Hahahaha... Sorry i didnt know what exactly 'pelekat timah' is called...

Ido know much history of this car... I brought it on used car dealer shop and he said past owner is malay guy... Already test drive before buy it and all look quite nice.... But after one month using seems like the car need some more money to repair.

Yup it only shaking over 80kmh... Thought was a center pin because it not have it...

And i also think same... Maybe my rear rim was gelong because stereng was not shaking only car shaking.... Tayar tahun 2017 brand michelin... Not sure this type of tyre was good or not...

Anyone know how much if i want replace the whole rubberstrip, weatherstrip, window and door rubber moulding for 2009 myvi.

When can i find it for full replacement? If possible dowan the p2 service center

When I sold my car with the stock rims taken out of store room it also vibrate at any highway speed because I was cheapo to even send it for balancing (just deliver it to used car dealer).
Kesian the used car dealer have to drive it feeling like a JKR hammer drill

See if you can swap those rims around (front to back) and see if it solves the issue.

Cheaper solution rebalance all the four wheels at the tyre shop. Some idiota dunno how to balance/install tyre one.

If not, jack up the car, use wood chock the other wheels, rotate the wheel see if can spin freely (pandai pandai set to either N or release parking brake) and check if the wheel got freeplay (suspect bearing issue)

Spare parts shop should be able to get. PJ seapark PH Auto; Glenmarie Traffic One Auto. KL jalan ipoh Wing Hin might carry (i usually buy toyota stuff there not sure if they do perodua spares).
