Do you think I felt ecstatic joy when the Dow Jones Stock Market crashed from 14,000+ points to 6,000+ points in early 2009.? Did I lose my money.?

Fyi, I did not feel any slow cancerous pain when 1BTC slowly rose from US$1 in 2011 to US$1k in early 2017 or when the DJI slowly rose from 6,000+ points in early 2009 to 31,000+ points in early 2021 because I did not lose my money or "stole"/gain any money from others.

Losing money through inflation is common knowledge since many years ago, and so, we have about 3% Fixed Deposit Annual Interest Rate and 5% EPF Annual Dividends or safe ASW/ASN investments to compensate for it.
