QUOTE(kokweng1 @ Nov 22 2021, 05:41 PM) if not wrong for 4G Snapdragon only these color Thanks for the reminder, I do notice that there are Snapdragon 865 for 4G version that is why I am attracted to it...but surprisingly I went to 3 samsung outlets and 2 of them told me they are not aware of snapdragon version for 4G, only 1 of them mentioned that their 4G set is Snapdragon 865. But anyway I am going to buy from shopee as the price is RM200 cheaper than RRPCareful if u buying from other seller, some are still with old stock (exynos 990 model) Please check with seller and ensure your model is G780G and not G780F |

QUOTE(kokweng1 @ Nov 23 2021, 09:52 AM) if u wan safe just buy from official samsung or senheng/senq those as they did mention is snapdragon version I saw seller name "techmall" from Lazada seems like selling 4G Snapdragon version, judging from the comment. Current selling price is 1799 I am abit itchy to place order already haha...not sure if I can wait another 3 weeks. My previous samsung phone was note 3, then disappointed with their battery so jump ship to Honor/Xiaomi/Realme, but now I read quite a lot of positive review about this S20 Fe make me really want to try iti saw some seller do still sell exynos version so do careful Just wait for 12.12 , i believe u can get it around 1.4k ~ 1.5k (maybe lower at lazada if u manage to snap those bank voucher) Previously 9.9 many here get at 1.35k ~ 1.5k also just abit warning on SenQ/Senheng, they may do not have ready stock and very late ship out your item. Some people here unlucky because get cancel by them due to no stock |

QUOTE(kokweng1 @ Nov 23 2021, 10:48 AM) Techmall is ok, is handle by Lazada themself Yes, after note 3 I was using Honor 10 > Realme X2 Pro> Poco F2 Pro, I have no complaint on these phones but I am just curious to try out more features offer in S20 Fe, somemore it can link better with my tab S7 Fe...the only thing I worry on S20 Fe is the battery life, I will use for 1 or 2 weeks first if everything okay then only sell off my PocoHowever 1799 not cheap yet, previously 11.11 I think 1499 or 1599 only wa, note 3 > s20 fe is big jump edit: oh, u actually using some other honor/xiaomi/realme? IF u are using mid-ranger with 5000 or 6000 mAH battery, you will be get lower battery life on S20FE actually But what you exchange is everything is faster due to flagship processor |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Nov 23 2021, 03:08 PM) Just got my phone yesterday, very light weight and nice to hold, but the phone battery still depleting fast and also 25w charging seems not as fast as my 27w Poco charging speed even though just 2w different. But anyway there are a lot more good features which I want to experience like samsung pay and all. But one thing I can't figure out is when I cast my phone to my tab s7 fe via samsung flow, the image seems enlarge and I could not find a way to adjust it...I check from youtube tutorial once they cast it, the image size is just the same size on their phone...not sure what happen to mine |

QUOTE(kokweng1 @ Nov 23 2021, 04:56 PM) he using Poco F2 Pro , also snapdragon 865 Yes you are right, same 865 processor but S20FE lose out the 5G function since I bought 4G version (doesn't matter since Malaysia is not 5G ready yet).Actually to be honest, Poco F2 Pro and S20FE perform & battery should be similar S20FE might be worse actually , as usually chinese ROM quite heavy in restrict background processing Both phone similar spec also, the only advantage on S20FE is samsung pay and dex and OneUI (depend on user preference) Battery life and charging speed I would say Chinese brand is still better than Samsung, but there are not offering other extra features like how Samsung does, hence I believe this is one of the reason why Samsung battery life is weaker as it need to handle more background activity. Just my opinion. pikafaded liked this post

QUOTE(kokweng1 @ Nov 25 2021, 09:47 AM) samsung phone is playing safe with battery (after note7 incident) I might do a proper clean up and transfer my data to this new samsung on this weekend, weekdays are packed with work...just done updating everything and also the firmware...for Samsung pay, I am still not sure how it works, first time having such feature, but I saw somewhere mention this phone doesn't support MST on samsung pay, any idea what is this about?even u enable the fast charging, it don't really charge 25w all the time (maybe during 0 to 50% only) Also for new phone, try use for a week , normally first few day not very accurate For chinese rom, normally they very aggressive on killing the app once you exit to save battery. Samsung does this too, but only if the app un-use for around 3day I am using samsung pay , so will stick to samsung phone until google pay arrive at MY (which i think like wont |

QUOTE(Kendall @ Nov 26 2021, 09:19 AM) MST is the magnetic strip on CC. Nowadays no one is using the magnetic strip anymore. Mostly is just using the NFC on your phone to tap on the CC terminal. I see, thanks for the explanation, I have yet to explore the samsung pay, is it my card have the wave function then it can be register to samsung pay? need any authorization from bank? |

After 2 weeks of using this S20 FE 4G, my quick summary is that:
- Phone is light and easy to carry around, 120hz screen really give that "fluid" operation feel - Data/line receiving is very bad, sitting at the same spot in my office using Maxis, my previous Poco no doubt not full bar on the line but can still call, this S20 Fe cannot call at all - Battery life is miserable even though is Snapdragon processor, I lost about 5 -6% overnight, best SOT can get is 4h33m so far... Anyhow I am still happy with the features offer from this phone, might use for 1 year before jump ship to next phone |

QUOTE(neuromancerx @ Dec 7 2021, 04:03 PM) Understood. Battery life is my priority. Bored already using MIUI for almost 4 years. Planning to try other UI and I much prefer OneUI compared the others. MIUI every update is a gamble, it might solve a bug or introduce new bug...but to me my poco f2 pro serve me well for 1 year and did not face any major bug which ruin my day.I wanted to suggest you realme phone but after I experience the realme UI 2.0 in my realme x2 pro, I decided not to. |

QUOTE(xavier7 @ Dec 14 2021, 11:14 AM) Thanks for answering, ghost touching is like you touch on point A of the screen, but the screen shows you touched other sides, or both points as well. Then I did not face such issue, the only issue I have is the one I mentioned earlier, sometime typing but touch were not registered for 1 or 2 keyshttps://youtu.be/75WYnUp-UsA?t=3 |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Dec 21 2021, 01:31 AM) Call the bank and ask them to "Reset Token" for Samsung Pay. They should know what to do. Yes I have done that and my Samsung Pay is working now, thanks! For me so far, the SPay experience has been as such: 1) Maybank: Had to reset my tokens for CC and Debit (maybe cause I tried to use MaybankPay before). Activated fine through SMS afterwards. 2) HSBC: Had to activate through a phone call, no SMS activation method provided. 3) RHB: Painlessly enrolled CC and Debit (Master) through SMS activation. Granted this is on my HK Snap S20 so YMMV. Shouldn't be any harder on an official MY set anyway. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
