QUOTE(Keatsan @ Apr 14 2021, 03:39 PM) Didn't quite experience it or perhaps just lucky my unit isn't affected. I don't play games on my phone, hence didn't encounter. Nevertheless it's better to have the patch fix it if it resolves. So far also I never hear anybody complaining much about it. So should be ok for now.

Just got the s20 fe, and then noticed the jittery scrolling and mistouches (swipe as taps and vice versa). Already update to latest update.
Crazy how all tech website praising this phone as phone to buy but never include this major issue in their reviews.
BTW I tried the touch test app and found no issues, maybe Samsung is tricking the app.
Most definitely is hardware defect that Samsung try to cover with software

Not many reviewers want to upset big companies and it's not just phone. However if you read very carefully and extensively, some reviewers do mention the problems. Some more and some just 1 sentence. A few examples. Problem with Samsung's 108MB camera senor. It's slow to focus, not ideal to take pics of running around kids. Then the very high battery drain during overnight standby for newer Samsung. Much higher than older Samsung.

What phone would you recommend around this price range? Oneplus 8 pro?

News outlet not so. So far the complaints here is not as extensive or that many as compared to what we see overseas, or maybe not a lot of people have the phone. Been using the phone since November myself, don't seem to experience any problems. I do experience some glitches when the car's AC was blasting on it. Didn't manage to use it overseas yet during the winter. xD

Nope, I didn't buy through samsung, plus I have no idea what is the return policy is like in Malaysia, if you check reddit you can find some funny replies from Samsung customer service like dirty fingers and what not for touch screen issue This post has been edited by lopiop: Apr 21 2021, 06:43 PM
