Did that. But my samsung wont prompt to back up from storage. Googled it, seems like huawei copied folders in samsung wont work. But curious as shared here can be done

I got try, on acer android to samsung android, no msg is lost
1st tap backup on old phone at whatsapp setting
Then copy whole folder and paste it at phone storage, not other place
And install whatsapp to verify number
Remember to keep only latest of database file

Yeah same with me..going to upgrade from s7 edge..
Almost pulled trigger for s20 fe 5g but now s20 fe 4g with sd is coming gonna hold first..
Or maybe wait for s21 fe..

Camera issues is fixed as i know of?

Note 20U and S21U solution was adding laser AF.

Nice. Just gonna skip 5G phones. Not worth it.

My alternatives are Xiaomi Poco F3 and Redmi Note 10 Pro.

People getting 5G phone isnt because it got 5G , is because the 5g only built-in into high end chip like snapdragon 870 , 865 , 888

If u buy any variation of those chip u automatic will have the 5g in your phone

Poco f3 is a good buy, u can at least enjoy 2 to 3 year of smoothness since it power by snapdragon 870, great processor so far and stable without heat problem

The s20 fe 4g will come with 780G snapdragon , not sure how good is it but im sure the 865 stil better , it can as least last u 2-3 year of smoothness

i bought the 25W charger, the difference with normal 15W is obvious.. felt good using it..
