Anyone having normal phone call issues? I'm using S21+.

Sometimes when you make call or receive call other side can't hear you.

WhatsApp call works fine. Just the normal call having the issue.

I change to other phone (Xiaomi) and use for 2 days no call issue at all

Coming from a s10+, is it worth upgrading to s21U used within my affordability?

You are fine.
They are competitive against SD888. Still lost a bit to SD888...but you are not going to feel it. It's just as fast as the SD888.
Overheat? - Nope. It's warm...but definitely not overheat. SD888 is not anything better
Battery life - Nearly identical (don't compare with S20Fe...it's not running on SD888)

Seriously, if you want long battery life & less heat...go mid-range or anything SD865 & below.

Anything with SD888 or Gen 1 class CPU will struggle with battery life. Unless, manufacturer slapped a 6000Mah battery or higher in it. Cortex-X1 leave a lot to be desired.

Just look at S22 thread...folks there are struggling with battery life. The S22U fare better bcoz of that 5000Mah battery...others...expect a 1 stop at least if you are heavy user.

If like that, Note 20U SD865, Note 20 with SD865 seem like a better choice, as S20FE impacted with touch screen issues? Or even older SD855 based galaxy devices just perform as good?

For example the entire S20-22 family from a design standpoint. Would it have been absolutely horrific if they were to simply push out the backplate to be level with the camera bump and give us extra battery (and added cooling) along with the extra space?

Like with the S22, I can't even brain why you'd wanna create an entirely new (and smaller even) battery for it when you can just work the frame to fit the old S20/21 unit and save on developmental costs

If you can stomach the spotty repair options (might want to get from DirectD and bundle together the insurance if you can), the S20 5G Snap is marvellous, except for the fact that internal storage is capped at 128GB. Sure it has SD expansion but you'll be surprised how much you actually need actual internal storage and how much stuff you can't transfer over into the SD without breaking the OS

That 12GB RAM is a gem however, even if that darned curved screen is so freaking fragile you're gonna have to baby that phone all the time, even with a TG (and getting a good TG for that screen is another long story altogether).

That screen (and related repair misadventures) literally pushed me over to the Baby 22 (despite the smaller battery, no mSD, less RAM, overheating Gen 1 etc).

Also, the Snap 5G 20FE in 256GB, if not of the iffy camera and touchscreen issues (yes even some new units have them) is actually a perfect phone IMHO. I don't think the Snap 4G 20FE has any touchscreen issues so that is also an option, considering 5G is not even widespread yet here in Msia anyway.

Considering the S22 is the EXACT SAME DIMENSIONS to the i###ne 13 (and 13 Pro), i can feel the truth strongly in your heavily censored words bruh

BTW, the "smaller screen, smaller battery" leaks was all over a loooong time prior to the launch, so I had lotsa time to ponder just WTF they were smoking at Sammy RnD.

But when someone ended up mentioned that it was the same size as the 13 IT ALL MADE SENSE *dum dum dum* Jokes aside, the 22 being noticeably fatter makes me miss the narrower aspect ratio of the 20/21 all the frigging time - yet another of those "must have been some great shiit you guys were smoking" moments

Alas, my 20 was giving me so much trouble that I had to trade up. I would have happily stayed with it otherwise

Does S21 FE (local set at least) comes with physical lights sensor instead of relying on front camera

I know many A & M series do rely on front camera, even S20 FE and S10 lite as well

True about no stock.  I searched for S21 Malaysia set, none left.  Only see Snap version HK/US set.  Can't even wait for price drop nowadays lol.

I found shopee got seller sell s21 series demo set with quite low price. I thought will sold out very soon, but I wait 2 weeks, the 5 units still on sell and nobody buy it.

It there any issue on demo set? Really wish to get 1 if no issue. At least 500 to 700 cheaper than new set.

I'm considering buying the S21 FE HK set as it has SD. My biggest concern is whether it can receive OS updates and security patches in Malaysia. appreciate your input guys
