QUOTE(kumhoo @ Apr 9 2022, 04:19 PM) Anyone having normal phone call issues? I'm using S21+. Sometimes when you make call or receive call other side can't hear you. WhatsApp call works fine. Just the normal call having the issue. I change to other phone (Xiaomi) and use for 2 days no call issue at all Check the band that you are connected to in your S21+ Then check the band that you are connected to in your Xiaomi If both same, then something may happen to your S21+ If not, then the connected band through your S21+ may have problem This post has been edited by lambox105: Apr 15 2022, 10:08 AM

QUOTE(wongtheboy92 @ Apr 13 2022, 01:23 PM) Coming from a s10+, is it worth upgrading to s21U used within my affordability? Make sure you get snapdragon + dual sim version Single sim (as far as I know) wont be able to support Malaysian 5G bands as they are only able to connect US 5G bands (Malaysia used band and US used band are different)

I forget which post but in multiple samsung threads here, there are people who testify that can use Samsung pay, just cannot get the points INB4 ayam analog person, use cash, debit or boost all the way You want better buy buy the s20fe but make sure is 5G model not 4G for futureproof. Estimate can last for 4 years like s10/note 10 series I know there are people who champion exy#### but ayam avoid exy#### like plague This post has been edited by lambox105: Apr 22 2022, 12:11 PM

QUOTE(wind01 @ Apr 24 2022, 04:54 PM) Second that. Exynos 990 probably scared a lot of people. Exynos 2100 & above You are fine. They are competitive against SD888. Still lost a bit to SD888...but you are not going to feel it. It's just as fast as the SD888. Overheat? - Nope. It's warm...but definitely not overheat. SD888 is not anything better Battery life - Nearly identical (don't compare with S20Fe...it's not running on SD888) Seriously, if you want long battery life & less heat...go mid-range or anything SD865 & below. Anything with SD888 or Gen 1 class CPU will struggle with battery life. Unless, manufacturer slapped a 6000Mah battery or higher in it. Cortex-X1 leave a lot to be desired. Just look at S22 thread...folks there are struggling with battery life. The S22U fare better bcoz of that 5000Mah battery...others...expect a 1 stop at least if you are heavy user. If battery life is not a concern, better get snapdragon units as they are prone to be more stable in long term S21 series, get dual sim (HK) as single sim (US) 5g bands not supported

QUOTE(wongtheboy92 @ Apr 24 2022, 09:37 PM) If like that, Note 20U SD865, Note 20 with SD865 seem like a better choice, as S20FE impacted with touch screen issues? Or even older SD855 based galaxy devices just perform as good? I own a S20FE 5G and there is no issue with the screen already Mostly affected are the first batch (10/2020-11/2020) + exynos units

I am a s10+ user, tried s20fe before, just it doesnt feel as premium like my s10. Can last me 7 hours from 85% to 5% since I am always downloading stuff through Neko

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Apr 26 2022, 12:42 AM) For example the entire S20-22 family from a design standpoint. Would it have been absolutely horrific if they were to simply push out the backplate to be level with the camera bump and give us extra battery (and added cooling) along with the extra space? Nope, aesthetics first Like with the S22, I can't even brain why you'd wanna create an entirely new (and smaller even) battery for it when you can just work the frame to fit the old S20/21 unit and save on developmental costs But hey, we're not Sammy management What to do? A####-ism is growing in S##S### management team Everything must follow A#### style

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Apr 24 2022, 10:08 PM) If you can stomach the spotty repair options (might want to get from DirectD and bundle together the insurance if you can), the S20 5G Snap is marvellous, except for the fact that internal storage is capped at 128GB. Sure it has SD expansion but you'll be surprised how much you actually need actual internal storage and how much stuff you can't transfer over into the SD without breaking the OS That 12GB RAM is a gem however, even if that darned curved screen is so freaking fragile you're gonna have to baby that phone all the time, even with a TG (and getting a good TG for that screen is another long story altogether). That screen (and related repair misadventures) literally pushed me over to the Baby 22 (despite the smaller battery, no mSD, less RAM, overheating Gen 1 etc). Also, the Snap 5G 20FE in 256GB, if not of the iffy camera and touchscreen issues (yes even some new units have them) is actually a perfect phone IMHO. I don't think the Snap 4G 20FE has any touchscreen issues so that is also an option, considering 5G is not even widespread yet here in Msia anyway. Those that have issues are they old stock? I bought in December 2021 and the shop give me one is new stock with last Android 11 update before Android 12 I do know there are some shops do hold old stock to sell them as new (not just S20FE but other models and brands as well). Ayam dont know the reason for this though. As for the camera, ayam not photographer so dont really care that much

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Apr 26 2022, 03:01 PM) Considering the S22 is the EXACT SAME DIMENSIONS to the i###ne 13 (and 13 Pro), i can feel the truth strongly in your heavily censored words bruh BTW, the "smaller screen, smaller battery" leaks was all over a loooong time prior to the launch, so I had lotsa time to ponder just WTF they were smoking at Sammy RnD. But when someone ended up mentioned that it was the same size as the 13 IT ALL MADE SENSE *dum dum dum* Jokes aside, the 22 being noticeably fatter makes me miss the narrower aspect ratio of the 20/21 all the frigging time - yet another of those "must have been some great shiit you guys were smoking" moments Alas, my 20 was giving me so much trouble that I had to trade up. I would have happily stayed with it otherwise A fatter phone somehow i feel more secure compared to a thinner phone. If the battery bulge, at least the battery is still inside the parameter of those fatter phones Your S20 was exy#### unit?

QUOTE(MyProLife @ Apr 27 2022, 09:38 AM) Does S21 FE (local set at least) comes with physical lights sensor instead of relying on front camera I know many A & M series do rely on front camera, even S20 FE and S10 lite as well Local (MY)/HK/US/KR/CN/ROW set all same hardware only difference is software (dependent on country) and cpu S21FE uses hardware sensor according to some /k here Look a few posts back

QUOTE(Tealifos @ May 1 2022, 09:50 PM) is s21 ultra still selling ? why the website no price? If you want EXY#### set, you have to search shop by shop since samsung malaysia stop to intake this model or you can check here. If you want Snapdragon set, get the dual sim version here (AVOID US version at all cost if you want to use 5G in malaysia in the future). This post has been edited by lambox105: May 2 2022, 11:22 AM

QUOTE(Tealifos @ May 2 2022, 01:36 PM) what is exy### .? #? i always heard bout samsung exynos (my set) and snapdragon ..but never really know what is the actual difference just watch youtube..some test shows exynos better some snapdragon better which is recommended? i've use s7 edge before my set ..was amazing phone at that time until 1 year plus battery drain/camera not nice anymore - i think this one is exynos and since s21 ultra already arnd a year..is it still worth it? or the battery performance already degrade? was planning to get 2nd If you plan to replace phone every 2 years, then you may opt for EXY#### version Else, if you use more than 2 years, get snapdragon as easy as that

QUOTE(x88yunkw @ May 22 2022, 11:30 PM) I found shopee got seller sell s21 series demo set with quite low price. I thought will sold out very soon, but I wait 2 weeks, the 5 units still on sell and nobody buy it. It there any issue on demo set? Really wish to get 1 if no issue. At least 500 to 700 cheaper than new set. You might as well get SD here or here.
