Has any of u managed to get google pay via nfc to work? I tried many times, the terminal simply doesnt detect it

Did you have NFC switched on during Google Pay attempt? It works differently from Samsung Pay.

Samsung Pay will auto turn on for use and then turns off after Samsung Pay use (if you didn't manually turn it on or leave it turned on all the time).

i actually loved this phone and have been religiously using for the past 2 years since it's launched.

for now just trying diff ecosystem (iphone) since they have widget etc.

Mine is Snapdragon 888 SM-G998U1 (12/256) Phantom Black - USA Set (Unlocked by Samsung) on One UI 5.0 Android 13 now.

Im on Maxis, on LTE (fast and stable) so no 5G but if you are on Celcom or Digi, then maybe yes?
