Too bad black phantom is out of stock now.
I wonder why 512gb is still coming soon while shopee lazada seller already sell till out of stock?

I bought mine at 12.30am today, probably one of the last stocks available. But I'm sure silver will have a lot of stock because majority goes for black.

Try to put in aeroplane mode when you are sleeping. Monitor the next morning.

Exynos is infamous for weak network modem, making it keeps hunting for signal real hard. I had S7E, S8, S10, and S10E. All same symptom, unless I was staying at my hometown which had very strong signal and 100% on mobile network because no WiFi. It drained even lesser than my rented house with WiFi but has very weak mobile signal. I had since suspect it could be the modem.

Having said that, the other possibility is the bloated ROM of Samsung. But that's another story (software).

According to battery apps, apps usage is the main drain. But it can't tell which app exactly.

Regarding phone calls signal. I'm not too sure. I have been to rural areas with poor signal together with a Huawei phone. Huawei will shows stronger signal whereas Samsung sometime none. Yet when exactly making calls, both phones performance the same. It's on same Telco for both phones

If you're not tight in budget, get the 256GB, sometimes having a large storage can save a lot of hassle.

Actually silver colour. Not bad la. Quite nice la.

Initially I want black too. But my phone seller friends suggested silver nicer.

I went for the silver colour and to my surprise. I really like it will have the rainbow effect under different lighting conditions

I was looking at the cases yesterday, silver looks really nice with a blue case.

I'm quite surprised with Samsung's speedy delivery, ordered 12.30am, received 6pm.

One thing I can feel is the phone is quite warm.

It's normal the phone still learning your usage pattern. Give it a week

It will back to normal temperature

Well that makes sense. Because the heat today was a bit overkill if it's always gonna be like that.

If budget is tight then obviously get the cheaper one. 128GB is still plenty.

Just got my Spigen Liquid Air pen edition. Love it! Way better than the Samsung s-pen rubber case.

From my past experience, it was the Google Playstore. Some suggests it's caused by apps trying to sync in background. Never have this issue with my Xperia 5 though.

Me been to a place with S10e Exynos and Huawei P30. Both same telco. Huawei still could mobile network whilst my S10e Exynos was overheating, struggling to capture any signal.

do you guys facing any slow fingerprint unlock? the phone come with the pre-applied screen protector and i am thinking of tearing that out because it seems to make the finger print unlock slow, slower than how my oneplus 5 unlock using fingerprint.

Did you just got the phone and just started using it?

At first the fingerprint will abit slow and sluggish. But after sometime.will be faster.i think the finger print reader. Need some time to learn the pickup pattern.

So I think. Just bare with it and it will improve.

At first i also though the underscreen finger print reader. Is very slow. When compared to my previous optical finger print reader.

After sometime, it is not very slow after all

Still using the pre-applied screen protector. No particular issues with it, maybe your OP5 is memang faster?

I can confirm this is faster to unlock than my Huawei Mate 20 Pro and so far, my failed attempts are lesser. I still miss physical fingerprint sensor behind the phone, that one was the most reliable.

The fingerprint will not really work when your finger is dry. Especially after you wash & dry your hand. Put some moisture on your finger with your saliva if your fingerprint doesnt work.

bad recommendation especially during covid times.. LOL

i would say rub/massage your fingers a bit until its a little less dry.

normally that works for me.

But normally i will just use my alternate unlocking method if fp failed me a few times.

Because its quite time consuming to rub your fingers

While keying in pin or pattern is just faster hahah

Oneplus 5 has a physical fingerprint sensor, of course it's faster.
