i think this is samsung problem right from the begining. from touchwiz .

samsung put alot of bloatware. on top of android OS. to show the world that they want to have their own OS. this back fired and become everyone hated samsung for slow and sluggish phones.

now with latest one ui 3.1 i think is much better compared to years back.

xiaomi previously took the same route as samsung with their MIUI 12 (loaded with tones of bloatware). but they saw the problem of sluggish phone using this MIUI 12. thats why MI 11 will come with MIUI 12.5 with alot less bloatware.

you can see the MI 11 MIUI 12 review. very sluggish alot animations in return will feel slow.

ya the one ui is better compare to old touchwiz, can feel it great at my note10 , but i stil feel my xiaomi 10T is far faster than samsung one ui

for sure samsung have more feature and function compare to miui but the latest miui have alot of bug like whataspp notification stuggling zzzzzz

agree with that, but coming from a Samsung for years.

i find it quite ok with a couple of Samsung apps in One UI

for example:

- Calendar = im ok with using Samsung Calendar instead of Google's

- Keyboard = while i used to love Gboard, but current Samsung Keyboard has come a long way, i even started using Samsung Pass now and like the fact that its integrated with one tap away to access my passwords (also clipboard manager as well!)

- Gallery = no comment for now as i like both Photos and Samsung Gallery

- Browsers = Samsung browser is nice! but i still prefer Chrome

- Samsung Health = i find this better than Google Fit, having used both before, Samsung Health feels more easier to use

- File Manager = the most advanced File Manager i've used. compared to OOS and stock Android's File Manager.

- Stock launcher = so far the only stock/oem launcher i've used that can intergrate folders within app drawers! soooo much more easier to organize and unclutter the app drawer!


so far the only inconvenience i find is Samsung Pass only, during the initial set up. as everything needs to be done on the phone. if only it can be managed on the web, it will be so much easier!

Oh they still have it yesterday, now it's gone.

I doesn't game on my phone, rarely actually, so just went ahead and got the exynos version huhu..

I think 31st is the last day I think.

Talk about the samsung gallery , that the reason i buy samsung too last time , drag and move to other folder is so easy , the management is top

obviously. for bloatware on android OS. samsung is god tier. no one can compete with samsung's bloatware.

thats the reason why samsung phone ui feels so slow compared to other brands.


now alot of phone brands are turning more towards vanilla stock android . just with minor tweaking to OS.

i think google is doing very good job in maintaining their android direction.


for china brand phone sold in china only. they might think that more customization and bloatware doesnt affect the OS smoothness. because china cant access google services.

but once they go international market with their phones. google services play a huge role in phone usability since alot international android phone users uses google services. such as google maps, gmail, youtube, google drive.

My S21U is always warm to the touch (front & back) compared to my N10 with Exynos, not sure if this is normal. Just normal browsing.

yeah exynos, starting temperature from 1 hour screenoff is already at 37'C lol wtf

In room not using the phone, around 30 deg.

Outside in bright sunlight taking 5 or 10 minutes photos, can go as high as 42 deg

I thought 2100 chip better already
