well,I tink most of u already know bout this game,some might think i should post this at the game section.
but i think it's not juz a game but it's like a bible for football enthusiasist.
I have played since season 99/00 CM then till now it changed to FM. bout 7 years...I'm still a teen k!
I learn a lot and I get to know more about the history of football as well as who might juz be the next young star that Big clubs is chasing.
while every1 asking who's nani and anderson when MU signed them,I already knew them long time ago since they are the most exciting prospects in side FM.
so if u guys r interested then go n try this game ok!

I would like to keep this thread as for discussion about football based on FM the game lo.
like tactics or formation for football,exciting talents,big shot those days...

p/s:this game is highly recommended by many top players n managers,they do play games also k!
ie Alex ferguson etc...(well i know they wont be playing too often but they did play....)

Anyway u can't really trust FM regarding upcoming talents. They get some right and some wrong.

I've been playing the game since the very first Championship Manager game was released. Like you, I switched to Football Manager when Eidos took it up. I have to say that though they are pretty good at realising a players ability, there are heaps of other factors to consider, because all you're looking at is numbers. If it were a good gauge of a players total ability, club scouts would be out of a job.

i agree with u,offcoz u cant totally believe watever it's in the game,but i mean it does help me to understand better about the operation of the football world,like how they transfer players,co-ownership,loan,trial,the league's rules,
so i tink it's helped me a lot actually.

and before you start a new bashing towards people who played FM, I advise you to look at all the thread that have been created in Sports Games subforum, and read back all the thread. We at there discussing about tactical, player, and anything related to the games.

as i got 1 friend,game lover.he plays FM also,but the way he play is kinda dunno wat...
he edited the game using editor make his team strong,and he even can sell stevie G to MU ......kinda sad for me....
not condemning anything but u can see that it's too reealistic for me to accept it.....

And this game can last very very very long season.

Yup stevanisterlrooy cleared things up. And TS, you can't trust FM 100% such as egen players and etc.

In b4 where's Anatoli Todorov?

In FM06, Anderson, Hatem Ben Arfa and Micah Richards were great players.

Sigames got 2 out of 3 of them correct.

Which one had they got wrong? Ben Arfa? He's playing more regularly for Lyon.
