never ever get a card lower than 5 digit limit since day 1 I got credit card.

i wanted to apply maybank visa sig. but i thought i dont spend more than 30k a year.

Reason: Used to work in bank and they gave staff credit limit 13k.

Now I have resigned and they still maintained my CC credit limit.

Don't be carried away credit limit

What matter is the ability to pay the full amount every month

If you constantly swipe 8k and pay in full every month for 1 year, am sure you can ask for higher credit limit

my cc limit from citibank x5 my net salary. I don't even know how to spend all that money at once why give me such high cc limit.

Charge cards like American Express/Diners requires you to pay your balance in full at the end of each billing cycle.

If poor that only can make monthly minimum payments on the balance for credit cards, but charge cards need to pay full.

just swipe cc at the hospital and discharge don't need to worry about limit. one less thing to think about.

AMEX charge card. No limit.

There is no limit impose. However,you need to settle in full amount every month.

Also you need to be invited.
