The Flag for the failed 1963 Maphilindo Confederation ๐ฒ๐พ๐ต๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฉ
This was the proposed flag for the Maphilindo (Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia) in 1963. The Greater Malayan Confederation or Maphilindo (for Malaya, the Philippines, and Indonesia), was a proposed, nonpolitical confederation of the three Southeast Asian countries. It was also a precursor to a wider union of Southeast Asian nations (what we now know as the ASEAN).  |
