Bah!
That 1 watter only applies to the 500MHz processor. I'm surprised by the VIA Eden ULV 1.5GHz 400MHz 7.5W Processor. The 1.5GHz is more lovely. |

QUOTE 6.2.1 VIA CX700 Key Features With a processor interconnect bus speed of 400 MHz, the VIA CX700 can support up to 2GB of DDR 400 MHz and DDR2 533MHz main system memory, and includes all the graphics and video processing benefits of the UniChrome Pro II family, with the VIA CX700M boasting additional multimedia features including hardware MPEG-4 and WMV9 video decoding acceleration and a built-in TV interface. The PCI bus (4 masters) is supported for various PCI add-on applications. Other key multimedia features include: · Two sets of frame buffers supporting DuoView for two different sets of screen display · Video capture ports can take external CCIR656 video for alpha blending · Built-in LVDS/DVI transmitter to offer various display options for embedded developers besides the standard CRT/LCD monitors used for PCs · Integrated SDTV/HDTV encoder for a direct TV interface · High Definition audio is built in to meet increasing multimedia standards. but it doesn't feature a PCI-express bus does it? and dont have hardware h.264 decoding so might not able to watch bluray or HD dvd on it This post has been edited by dattebayo: Aug 25 2007, 12:28 PM |

And they even claimed that a whole rig could be built around this processor that would require less than 10w!!!
Somebody better come up with a fanless miniaturized 20w PSU!!! |

QUOTE(dattebayo @ Aug 25 2007, 05:05 PM) Pentium 4? You mean Pentium 3 issit? Put it this way, forget about mobilemarks or sysmark or whatever... the best benchmark for C7 is the magic question... Haiyaa, I thought it would be at least a Vespa or Honda Cub 80. Wonder whether it would be cheap enough to acquire as a BT rig.... |

This maybe can consider to be put in a car as the power comsumption is really little.Any car modder going to take this proc for their modding or not. Thus it can do BT in the car by using HSDPA service.
