Bah!
That 1 watter only applies to the 500MHz processor.

I'm surprised by the VIA Eden ULV 1.5GHz 400MHz 7.5W Processor.
The 1.5GHz is more lovely. smile.gif

And they even claimed that a whole rig could be built around this processor that would require less than 10w!!! rclxub.gif

Somebody better come up with a fanless miniaturized 20w PSU!!! laugh.gif Or if you have any chaplang 10-year old 100w PSU, better keep it!!! whistling.gif

If they even had 1x PCIe...

With ~30W for the whole system, getting a MXM 2600 Pro (underclocked, est. 15W) that plays H.264 and VC-1 in HD is...

H.264??

Running slot machines are ok ler....its for embedded market anyway.

Comparatively speaking... if the Conroe's a sportscar, the X2's a sports sedan... this VIA is a skateboard. tongue.gif

Pentium 4? You mean Pentium 3 issit?

Put it this way, forget about mobilemarks or sysmark or whatever... the best benchmark for C7 is the magic question... "Will it play a DVD without stuttering?"

For downloading stuff and office work, it's enough lor.

Yeah.. am talking about the 1.5Ghz version.

Only skateboard? Haiyaa, I thought it would be at least a Vespa or Honda Cub 80. laugh.gif

Wonder whether it would be cheap enough to acquire as a BT rig.... hmm.gif

This part I'm not sure lar but if they follow their same habit as their older chipsets, the hardware acceleration only works with PowerDVD niah. Anything else doesn't work.
