its ok as long as you dont push your car too much. The oil will get sticky when it is very long has been used without changing to a new ones rather than being so silky smooth so it might damage your engine internals.

Its ok, i usually go over by about 1000km before i service as its not always convenient for me to go once it hits the recommended oil change time

i think he means the car odometer... he say he should change oil when 120000... smile.gif

not harm if over 500km... if engine condition is good, engine oil can last long too...
if over 5000km, prepare to overhaul engine anytime... tongue.gif

It depends on usage and conditions. Engine oil has to be changed if it gets too thick or too polluted. If your car has an oil pressure gauge, it has to be changed when the oil pressure is consistently higher than normal.

true. there's no problem driving around with black engine oil. the only concern is the particles left in the oil like dusts of metal from engine wear and tear.

it is called engine oil, not black oil smile.gif
btw, dont worry, no problem punya.. try to use the dipstick n check if ur engine oil too dark? or maybe sticky? both of these will do no good to ur engine

If you always stress your engine and travel frequently, you can't follow the guideline to change your engine oil at intervals of 5K km(semi syn/mineral) or 10K km (fully syn). I've seen some people that change their fully syn engine oil at every 5K to 6K KM simply because they travel very frequently and the engine oil is black and sticky when they change it.

If your engine oil is still clear and fluid (not dark/polluted or sticky), you can still drive around, just dont over do it tongue.gif

is ok to service it later!

Even bmw also claims their engine oil can last 25,000 for each service!

Ask, bmw owners to claim whether is true! ahahah
