Anyone played The Chasm's Bounty yet? Shit is creepy af.

Apart from the other two, I can agree with the core issues that plagues the game as well as not having 5* BIS that synergizes with your main dps.

I personally find the artifact system okay, it's not good but it doesn't warrant a prioritization from hoyoverse for the time being. As for endgame contents, I don't think Hoyo will ever have plans for that. The western community has been asking for endgame content in the form of PvP and I think that's just dumb

The grind and RNJesus are always going to be a part of the game's system and as with any other games that are grindy in nature, it takes an exceedingly long time to get em. I think what makes Genshin different from other grindy games is your grind efforts are sadly resin-gated.

But yeah, Genshin Impact has fell on a flat note lately. It's like 2.6 was barely hyped up. The fanbase still enjoys the content the company pumps up, but I'm surprised by the tepid reception.

It might sound insensitive to say this, but you either have the patience or you don't to go with the grind.

Genshin Impact isn't the first and the last game to enforce grinding and people sometimes speak as if there are no other games out there that has a certain degree of grinding required. Think about classic games like RO or MapleSea. Those demand equally long hours of getting your desired drops and stats. Again, it's not the grind that is the problem, but the way the grind is handled. If grinding in Genshin Impact was made easier then the players will be hounding Hoyo 24/7 for newer contents to be delivered sooner. And to be frank with you, there's never a ceiling to the grind you can get in Genshin.

Once you hit your best record, you start pushing again. That's how it works. A friend of mine once said there's a lot to do in Genshin, looking at it now, it's kinda true. The road to optimizing your 4* and 5*s is long, you can go pick ingredients daily, if your exploration for certain areas isn't 100% you can do those too. Those will keep you busy until the new patch drops. The fun in games that demand an absurd amount of grinding is the progression. If anything, think of Genshin as a leisurely game. Lastly, the whole point of the daily grinds, missions and freemos is to build up to something great, if you get into that mindset, then maybe it'll be easier to wait out the contents.

I think people just hate grinding as a whole because the world is used to getting things fast and on the spot these days, esp the younger generation who hates reading long ass stuffs, and its rubbing off on the Millennials or Baby Boomers. Not saying Genshin isn't monotonous, but it is a game you generally spend 15-30 minutes daily to get things done, then you check in every 8 hours to prevent resin overflow. When a new region/patch drops, somehow that game time goes up to 4-8 hours for me. Still good, still fun.

If you need another 5* anemo user that isn't Venti, pull Kazuha. Guy does well at C0.

Although we don't know much about Tighnari yet, his kit and signature weapon is shaping up to be like a Dendro Ganyu. If you want a good Dendro character, you might as well save for Dendro Archon, who drops in 3.1. Then there's Nilou at 3.2.

Don't go all in, if all in means dumping your freemos. Have you pre-farmed his arti? Don't go prefarming his stuff until you see this.

Also, a ton of video on Dendro reactions out there. Major benefactors are Hydro, Electro and Pyro. Cryo, Geo and Anemo have little to NO interaction with the element.

Ah, that's where you're wrong. Lolis are pretty popular among JP and CN players. See Klee's first banner sales for example. Hoyo was also very smart to make Kusanali likable.

Something along the lines of her having a sad backstory like Raiden which makes people want to pull for her.

C6 Nilou here I come I guess. Although leaks already show she's more likely sub dps.

Inspired by Arabic names, since Sumeru is very much inspired by Arabic/Middle Eastern culture I think.

See first Leak community saying Nilou is specifically designed to support the bloom reaction and nothing else. Can't play burgeon and hyperbloom (Hydro + Dendro + Pyro/Hydro + Dendro + Electro)

Not really sure how the dendro meta is going to affect the game on a larger scale. Also, Mihoyo seems to be taking hydro dps characters in a very different direction when it concerns stat optimization. You have the usual crit characters, but then you have HP% characters like Yelan, Kokomi and now Nilou.

Best to go C0 for all Sumeran characters you want during their first banner then consider cons during reruns ba.

Assuming that is the case, then Dendro might be pushing for a quickswap dps-heavy meta. What I can see from the leaks so far is that the dendro meta is revolved around a constant barrage of reactions. I don't really know how mobile phone users are gonna tank the amount of action going on in their screen. Looks like a lot of phone players are suffering with each new patch.

To simplify, C6 grants her normal hydro infusion and extends her ability to apply hydro status indefinitely.
C4 grants her +150% ER
C2 reduces enemy hydro and dendro resistance at 45%

Sub dps at C0, on-field dps at C6.
Downside is you can only play bloom reaction. So you can possibly pair her with... Dendro Archon + Kokomi + Nilou + Kazuha/Venti

As always, the leaks are meant to be taken with a copious amount of salt. However... Uncle Lu is a reputable and trusted leaker in the community. And Nilou with %Max HP and pigeonholed into the bloom team comp. C2 and C6 are very much on point I believe, C4 I do have my own suspicions too. That said, I do think the kit is believable simply because the dendro meta enforces a reaction heavy playstyle, so all these cons may be compensating incredibly low scalings on dendro characters.

A shame you missed out Kazuha's banner by 2 days. If you were looking for recos, I would have suggested Kazuha, and if you already have him, well, just save your primos. If you're looking for a solid dps, currently Tighnari from Dendro looks to be pretty promising, and yes, he is confirmed to be featured on the standard banner, not his signature weapon though. Cyno according to unverified leaks is rumored to outdps Raiden. An electro Xiao that can regenerate energy during burst, so keep an eye out for him if all that is true. I still won't recommend Tighnari because he's just a knockoff Dendro Ganyu with less power.

I personally wouldn't recommend Yoimiya unless you're a sucker for her aesthetics and designs. Although people now realize Yoimiya's worth in the meta, she's still a bit iffy as a character. Even with meta out of the picture, you can opt for other dps characters. Yoimiya is just... at a weird spot in terms of power scaling.

Then there's Nilou who is said to be a decent sub-dps championing the bloom reaction ONLY.

If you're F2P, just opt for Dendro Archon when she drops in Nov. That's 3 months of freemos and grinding for you to do, so no excuses there lol. The dendro meta will stay for a full year and all balance changes and designs will revolve around it, so might as well just play with it for awhile.

If you're desperate for a DPS to carry you, well... rumors of Ganyu + Zhongli rerun has been said. But there's also one about Bootao. But that one isn't set in stone yet. Something about 3 banners happening during Lantern Rite actually. Soooo... pandai2 la.

If anything, just run national team for all challenges, that should last you for an (agonizing) bit. Willing to help you out if need be too. The dendro meta is looking to shake lotsa things up.
