It's not Diona's artifacts that is the problem, it's how fast she heals sadly. The latest abyss is all about rapid dot and Mihoyo is trying to let you have a taste of it before they introduce the wolf mobs that cause bleed status effect when hit.

If this the kind of low of Mihoyo will stoop to bring healers back into the meta, I'll be pissed. I'm assuming they overtuned the bleed effect to push for Kokomi >_>.

Overhealers like Qiqi and Barbara come to mind. You want overheals this abyss. I ran a Benny for my Ganyu and the heals hardly did anything LOL. I'm glad Mihoyo is trying to demolish the shield meta, but to create problems to sell a character before changing metas again, this is hard for me to get behind.

Diona will heal you sufficiently but the problem is the bleed applies its ticks faster than her burst heals.

If your Diona isn't healing enough, try looking at your talent levels or see if you're running 4pc Maiden's. Anything but 4pc Maiden's results in lesser healing.

Some folks say Benny still works just fine. Maybe it's because my Benny is underleveled that he hasn't shone in this round's abyss for me. But go figure.

Guess you'll just have to put your teams to the test and tell us if it works.

The bleed status effect is applied beginning the first enemy you kill, so I guess target prioritization is important?

On another note, the community has confirmed the wep banner and 4*s accompanying Kokomi's release. Infos datamined.

Yeap. There's been quite a bit of speculation surrounding Kokomi's banner. With the previous one being Kokomi + Beidou + Bennett and Rosaria/Everlasting Moonglow + Vortex

If he wants a sword dps user, between Benny and Jean, I'd recommend him to go for Benny instead kek. Jean phys dps is fine, but her AS is super slow that I think she functions better as a sub dps instead, since her E has one of the highest scaling for basic abilities in game anyway.

Apparently... a community-touted inside leaker from Mihoyo says Shenhe drops in 2.4, and Yae in 2.5. So... that means Yae is next year.

Childe is pretty much locked in at this point. I just don't know if his banner is in the first half of 2.2 or the second half. Either way, you can expect a 5* bow named Brumal Star that has been datamined for 2.2. Bow works amazingly well with Childe, but if you have R1 Harp or R5 Rust, those two perform satisfactorily too.

Itto is the rumored Geo claymore user, and is stated to be more boyish and masculine in appearance. Think ripped figure, lots of skin, devil horns (said to be of an oni descendant), loud-mouthed but possesses a heart of gold.

Ayato is the one that the leak community says is a hydro spear user, built to be a damage character but no one knows if he's main or sub dps.

On another note, China has come down hard on effeminate depiction of boy characters in their media, including games, which is why moving forward, I think we can expect to see more Thoma/Itto archetypes as opposed to the standard shotacons. It's just a part of their media censorship is all, doesn't really affect the LGBTQ community there since they're quite out in China.

Some folks on the CN side claims Kokomi's C1 hardly increases her damage.

Basic translation: Kokomi's AA-jump attack cycle is extremely fast (only 1.03 seconds) compared to her AAA cycle which takes 2.1 seconds.

Based on a set stats (39420 HP, 1622 ATK, talent level 10/10/10, and some other set variables), during her ult she can do the following damage:

C0, 5 cycles of AAA: 158362

C0, 9.5 cycles of AA-jump: 205709

C1, 5 cycles of AAA: 214654
