From certain perspective a Stella fortuna would be much more valuable than a selector.

Usually a selector would give a limited selection of 5* units to choose from, while the Stella is universal. Either way I'd go for c1 hutao too haha but it's hard to believe now that they would give out a Stella fortuna, but I'm up for any surprises they have up their sleeves xD

That isn't hard. Look at the floaty ring behind your character. Use a burst, see it start lighting up. Counter clockwise if I'm not wrong. When the ring fully lights, that's maximum resolve.
