Isint he the one that got himself in debt during his arknights period?

CC supported by mihoyo have programs of their own, YouTube don't really pay much these days, majority of the income are mainly donations via twitch.

Play & gacha responsibly guys, don't get yourselves in debt over games 😂
*
Don't know about debt but he spent like around $5000 on Arknights, his vids were consistently getting 6 digit views, I'm sure he could cover that.

Youtube pays pretty well if you are at the top, when you can get sponsors. Those sponsored reel per vid can bring in ten of thousands just for one vid.

For Twitch, donations, bounties and sponsors aside, he averages 10,000 subs on twitch per month now. That's around $40,000 already.

And Mihoyo pays their CC with primogems lol. Unless its a sponsored stream

pretty sure the debt he incurred wasnt just 5k iirc, there was a long personal video he made previously about his climb back up from it.

Still pretty doubtful about YouTube paying enough to cover, especially from pay per view standpoint, far more believable if its mainly from Subs/Donation via Twitch

Mihoyo compensation of course pales much more in comparison to both above
*
I think he just exaggerated a lot, he showed his play store payment history on one of his videos and counted his spending. AK just totalled to $5000

He played AK for like 9 months, as someone that plays AK, you can't really whale that much in 9 months. $5000 can probably get you a near max account already.

Raiden has been a top pick in Abyss for many cycles already. Might wanna get her instead.
Don't refine the Jade Cutter if you're not a big spender. It's good for Ayato. His damage scales off his HP.

Don't think I'll refine it but don't really have use for it. I already have Mistsplitter

I set my path to Jade Cutter. But got that damned Kagura instead.

No Yae here btw.

Friggin hate the weapon banner. Never got anything I set for in that banner before.
*
Yeah I don't mind losing to RNG but the fact that i saved for months with monthly pass and yet I can't get it, yeah i give up.

Apart from the other two, I can agree with the core issues that plagues the game as well as not having 5* BIS that synergizes with your main dps.

I personally find the artifact system okay, it's not good but it doesn't warrant a prioritization from hoyoverse for the time being. As for endgame contents, I don't think Hoyo will ever have plans for that. The western community has been asking for endgame content in the form of PvP and I think that's just dumb  ph34r.gif

The grind and RNJesus are always going to be a part of the game's system and as with any other games that are grindy in nature, it takes an exceedingly long time to get em. I think what makes Genshin different from other grindy games is your grind efforts are sadly resin-gated.

But yeah, Genshin Impact has fell on a flat note lately. It's like 2.6 was barely hyped up. The fanbase still enjoys the content the company pumps up, but I'm surprised by the tepid reception.
*
Artifact is a problem. I quit because I literally can't progress with artifacts anymore.

I login and use my resin on my artifact runs and what? I already have all the artifact I need. Zero progression. Resins are totally useless endgame.

All I'm left with the game is to do dailies and farm primogems for months just to have an attempt at a go at their stupid weapon banner.

Genshin endgame is basically waifu collection and there are much better games out there if that is your cup of tea.

It might sound insensitive to say this, but you either have the patience or you don't to go with the grind.

Genshin Impact isn't the first and the last game to enforce grinding and people sometimes speak as if there are no other games out there that has a certain degree of grinding required. Think about classic games like RO or MapleSea. Those demand equally long hours of getting your desired drops and stats. Again, it's not the grind that is the problem, but the way the grind is handled. If grinding in Genshin Impact was made easier then the players will be hounding Hoyo 24/7 for newer contents to be delivered sooner. And to be frank with you, there's never a ceiling to the grind you can get in Genshin.

Once you hit your best record, you start pushing again. That's how it works. A friend of mine once said there's a lot to do in Genshin, looking at it now, it's kinda true. The road to optimizing your 4* and 5*s is long, you can go pick ingredients daily, if your exploration for certain areas isn't 100% you can do those too. Those will keep you busy until the new patch drops. The fun in games that demand an absurd amount of grinding is the progression. If anything, think of Genshin as a leisurely game. Lastly, the whole point of the daily grinds, missions and freemos is to build up to something great, if you get into that mindset, then maybe it'll be easier to wait out the contents.

I think people just hate grinding as a whole because the world is used to getting things fast and on the spot these days, esp the younger generation who hates reading long ass stuffs, and its rubbing off on the Millennials or Baby Boomers. Not saying Genshin isn't monotonous, but it is a game you generally spend 15-30 minutes daily to get things done, then you check in every 8 hours to prevent resin overflow. When a new region/patch drops, somehow that game time goes up to 4-8 hours for me. Still good, still fun.
*
I'm not saying I have problem with the grind. The problem is that I have reached the end there's nothing to grind anymore. My exploration is at 100% with every single chest gathered by going to every single point using the map tracker.

My artifacts already have super high crit stats, what more do I need really? What do I do with the resins? I have thousands of experience book and millions of gold. What do I do with my resins. I think I spend more time trying to figure out how to manage my artifact inventory more than anything

The character I like are already built up. So unless I pump money, I have no one to level anymore.

My account is bottlenecked at primogems even though I pay for monthly pass, do dailies everyday and never missed an event. At this point, its either spend more or quit. I chose the latter.

Again, I have no problems with the grind. Genshin is child's play compared to other games if you are talking about grind. I mean I left Genshin for an MMO, I put in 600 hours in the game since I started February and I have a full time job. Grind is nothing for me

Single player stuffs are fine. There are gacha games out there that primarily focuses on single player and they are doing just fine.

The problem with Genshin is that their idea of content = monotonous rehashed events and new maps releases that can be completed with one weekend. And a new map takes months to release.

The new area does not make sense, for example, Enkanomiya and Chasm both are sealed with complicated spell or puzzle,

Then you found out Hilichurls/treasure hoarder already inside  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
I understand the enemies there are for quests and other stuff, but still....  both aren't even natives in such areas.

they did explain there was an easier way into Enkanomiya, just that we used the complicated way lol

Yea weh, for a company this big & supposedly has prepared their contents 6 months ahead....I'm surprised that this delay happened.

Genshin is probably in maintenance mode already, not surprised if they downsized their team.

Their focus is probably more on HSR and ZZZ now. Genshin already matured enough to let a smaller team run it.

Tighnari looks kinda mehhh......but he's rumoured to be a Dendro Ganyu AKA CA attacker.

Dori.....ain't into loli. So I'd probably be a bit sad with Kusanali too.

Colei is the only one looks interesting to me.

Hopefully Nilou is a hot chick & there are still 2 more females without names yet. Rest all males, Cyno, Scaramouche & Al-Haitham.

Dori sits on a slime, how can you skip laugh.gif
