Personally, I really like Candace's design. So, I do have vested interest to see her shine.

Currently, there are 2 legit teams which suit her

1. Vape team - Bennett, Xiangling, Sucrose/Kazuha & Candace.
This team focuses on Candace vaping with all her skills; E, Q & CA. That's why you need a lot of pyro applicators.

2. Hyperbloom team - XingQiu, Candace, Dendro & Kuki Shinobu.
This team focuses on turning XingQiu into an on-field DPS thanks to Candace. With Dendro's help to produce Dendro Cores, Kuki can trigger Hyperbloom.
Off-field support is basically providing support, while being off-field.

XingQiu is an off-field DPS.

Guhua Sword: Raincutter's damage is 100% dependent on XingQiu.

That's why after getting at least 200% ER on him, you'd want to max out his damage potentials via crits.

Trying to deal damage with Barbara without vapes...is very inefficient.

Kokopium has been pretty good ever since she got her own artifact set.

The release of dendro and the hydro resonance buff just boost her to a very good meta character.

I got her during her first release.
She was already much better than Barbara then.

- consistent off field hydro application that doesn’t require you to hug the enemy.
