For Mihoyo to announce all these right when they're about to start 1.7 beta testing, pretty sure those new characters will be in 1.7. They're just announcing it faster than the leakers.

Logically Ayaka should be dropped first cause a lot of people are anticipating her already. If they delay any longer, people will get fed up. Yoimiya was only datamined recently, so lesser hype for her at the moment.

Genshin is a simple game, if you want Klee, just go for it. You don't regret one.

I think Yoimiya's skill was leaked already, she uses explosive ala fireworks style. Should be a charged attacker like Ganyu too. She's a fireworks trader. Probably by this weekend can get more details on Yoimiya from the 1.7 dataminers already.

As for Ayaka, seems like Mihoyo didn't change her skills at all. Just jack up her numbers to make her strong only. So you can go check out Ayaka's gameplay videos online. There's plenty of it already available. Her skills looks mehh (aesthetic wise), so seems like it'll be compensated with high damage. The only issue with Ayaka is her dash. It's like Mona, damn annoying to dodge with & get blocked by uneven paths easily.

Hope she's a spear/bow user as I already have plenty of claymore users and I ain't exactly a fan of catalyst user.

But but but her looks are so generic…

The only thing optimistic is archons to date have solid roles and gameplays. Traveller is like a half baked archon in skills and electro traveler seems OKish thus far.
