Plan use apk iptv, vod cannot tv no h264 chipset bla bla.
Ass the go confirm cannot.

So i plan to use tv box to skip those shits.. any recommend ?

Budget below RM 300, go for Mi Box S for certified google. But still 50/50 on Astro on the go.

Unlimited budget, go for nvidia shield pro. can games and future proof probably for the next 3 / 5 years.

How about thise tanix tx stuff ?

Tanix if used for only illegal iptv stream, sure no problem.. but for Netflix i think u will only get 480p, not the HD / full hd like any certified google box such as mi box s / mi tv stick.

If you plan to Netflix and chill, good idea to buy certified box.

Otherwise watching sub-HD quality using Tanix on FHD/4K TV will be a major turn off.

Yea my tv android 9 already turn me off haha. Gonna get mi box s but sucks its without lan port need to get adapter for that.

Since u already have Android TV, i dont think you will experience any improvement with Mibox.
Iinm, even mibox users are experiencing that VPN lan disconnect bug.

Sony Android TV should able to support the h264 code mentioned in ur 1st post.

so far so good 3 years of owning longtv ..resolution isnt 4k but stable and fast watching disney + , amazon prime show and apple+ content .

Not too sure of KM6 but I've been using mecool KM3 KM1 KM9 Pro and it's all working well till now. Hence reliability and software am not concern

I recommend use iphone 7 as a tv box.
iphone 7 is the cheapest model that still receive update from Apple.
use a lightning->digital AV adaptor to connect to TV.
