Hi all, this is my first time in this topic, in a very long time atleast.

my term life insurance of 20 yrs just matured very recently. im planning to buy another and currently in the market to buy directly from insurance providers, in order to allocate more of my premiums into my coverage instead of commissions.

while browsing online, im quite shocked to find that agents earn up to 200% commissions (over a decade) of my annual premium from life insurance products. if it was medical insurance i'd understand as they would need to do deal with a lot of paperwork with the client and hospital, but this is life insurance where i expect my family would deal with the insurance provider directly.

hence, could anyone with knowledge kindly point out are there any life insurance direct purchase that doesn't charge agent commissions?
