Hi Everyone: I have a question on the Allianz Insurance. I bought some products like Powerlink, Premierlink that came with investments. However, looking at the statement that I am trying to find what's the annual return for the investments/funds. Any agents can share with me how do I see this in the statement?
For insurers, before we even buy that policy, we were told there's a guaranteed return of 2.5%, however, this amount is nowhere listed in the yearly statement. Please enlighten me.

QUOTE(lifebalance @ Mar 17 2021, 08:45 AM) You will not see it within your statement. You'll need to refer to the fund that you've selected within your policy and look into their YOY performance return There is no such thing as guaranteed return of 2.5% for PremierLink and PowerLink so I'm not sure where you got this idea from. Thanks for the information; in fact my memory served me wrong, there's no such thing as guarantee returns after reviewing the policy again. Unfortunately, with this high premium I am paying for Allianz insurances (8 premiums for 4 persons!) but getting horrible returns is something I want to get rid of. Thanks again.

If I would like to purchase ILP (medical + protection) from eTiqa, do I need an agent? Or this can be done via the eTiqa portal itself?

lifebalance Thanks for the prompt response. I will contact them.
Just a side note, I am tired of the Allianz Customer support. Even a simple thing like fund switching, for 3 weeks they had not responded to me. So I am considering to surrender my policy which I had held for many years. I knew we can use BNM or etc to counter, but this is not what I am expecting from an Insurance company.

QUOTE(Euler @ May 19 2021, 08:49 PM) No matter how much you dont like the insurer, it is always better not to surrender the policy. Ah any rational behind? What if their process is so screwed until any claims also not possible / delayed as long as they can?

QUOTE(Euler @ May 20 2021, 04:52 PM) As long as is legit, insurers will always honor the claims. Thanks! Obviously we are referring to legit claims. Have you been able to read the news of GE recently rejecting legit claims?

lifebalance Thanks for the information
ping325 Thanks for the information as well. It's quite unfair for the future agents to handle any transferred policy, but rest assured, upgrades and new policies is always in my book as I am an investor.
