Anyone can view the contestability period and incontestability clause from the policy documents?

I read through.... I only notice waiting period and exclusions.

I found the definition from Google and also company website. 😊
I couldn't find it from the policy document.

It's within your policy contract.

Will insurance company provide customer copy of the policy contract? If yes, I will ask my agent to help me to get it.

Hi there, want to seek advise re illness declaration for medical insurance.

Back in 2019, I received letter from Pusat Darah Negara as they suspected that I have Hep-C. Their process requires 2-3 visits, 6mths apart, for them to confirm whether I have it. I didnt manage to complete the follow-ups (only attended the 1st appt) as we were in MCO by then.

Fast forward 2022, I had body checkup in ADMC and Hep-C was non reactive (means I did not have it at the time, nor have I ever had an active Hep-C infection before).
In my case, does this "hep-C suspect from PDN" need to be declare? Is PDN considered medical institution and I therefore received "medical advise"?  Thank you !

Submit medical report and latest result from ADMC. Hepatitis C infection needs confirmation test. I guess that is the reason PDN called you for follow up.

Non-Cancellable
This Annexure is non-cancellable unless there is fraud or any circumstance that makes the Policy or Annexure voidable or null and void

Is non cancellable equivalent to guarantee renewal?

Is there any limit how many critical illness insurance someone can own?

Why the insurance company asks 'do you have other life/health insurance' during application? 🙄

Asked GE via email, they gave this written reply:

"Please be advised that the allocation rate for the increased premium amount (i.e. RM100) - GSR is 100% to the Total Investment Value."

Somehow I find it hard to believe the allocation rate would be 100%. Perhaps they made a mistake? Clarifying with them again.

I thought GSR allocation rate was 95%. Can any GE agent confirm?

Maybe GE want to do it in this way to benefit customer more. I find it hard to believe as well but good for them for doing so.

There's difference between buy and sell price.

Better to do any surgery overseas so that local insurance company don't know your medical history. When register in clinic, don't give IC. Write your name, but not in full and write the IC number with a few numbers wrong. This way insurance cannot trace you.

Surgery cost is higher in overseas than private hospital. If can afford, why need insurance? 😂

Guys, I need you all opinion:

If you purchase RM 200 ILP insurance (no matter it's medical / life / critical illness), you pay RM 200 for consecutively 10 years.

RM 200 x 12 months x 10 year = RM 24,000 (paid)

Then you decided to terminate the ILP insurance and to withdraw cash value balance. The cash value has RM 8,000. If you consider the actual paid amount to ILP insurance, the calculation would be:

RM 24,000 - RM 8,000 = RM 16,000

If I want to calculate actual paid amount per month, then the calculation:

RM 16,000 / 120 months (10 years) = RM 133.33

Meaning that I use around RM 133.33 to purchase higher coverage in ILP rather than RM 200 per month? And RM 133.33 premium is lower than traditional (standalone) policy, only if I have better return that leads to high cash value.

Can I say like this?
*
If you plan to surrender it, better take standalone one. For ILP, there will be unallocated premium within first 6 years of policy. You will get zero value for that part. ILP needs long term commitment.

ILP is pure nonsense, but in Malaysia there is one hidden good thing...the tax relief. Rm3k x 25% is a subsidy of rm750 by the government. Next year it climbs to rm4k equivalent to rm1,000 subsidy. It's great to maximise tax benefits and it more than evens out the shitty ILP design.
*
That's the points. Bought ILP 14 years ago, decided upgrade the medical card for ILP last year. Can't see other benefit of ILP beside tax relief.

Critical illness I opted for standalone.
