Just want to ask your opinion on one issue. My mum had a lymph node swelling surgery in March 2021. Then I upgraded her insurance in April 2022 and got exclusion on her neck.

This was stated on the policy.

In addition to the terms and conditions of the annexures for SmartMedic Million-150-D-(Annexure U191), SmartMedic Million Plus-150 (Annexure U197) and SmartMedic Million Extender(Annexure U196), no benefit will be payable for any disease or disorder of the thyroid glands including any complication or consequence arising from it.

So can we appeal to remove the exclusion?

Or after how many years then only appeal or can I buy with another company and declare it
