Hey guys,

Could someone here suggest me which takaful operator and package are suitable for a family without kids?

Me and my wife currently have CuepacsPA (200k) and CuepacsCare (family package, 60k annual limit). We plan to get takaful (medical and critical illness) as the Cuepacs does not cover critical illness and the medical coverage is low. Both are 30++ yo, working occupation class 1 (office), and non-smokers.

We plan to get a medical card that could cover at least 500k annually, the critical illness at least 300k, and for protection only and not investment type.

Any comments/suggestions are greatly welcome!

I need a comprehensive takaful plan which could cover me at least 300k (death/tpd), 250k (CI), and 300k annual limit (medical) up to 70yo. I have received two quotations from different takaful operators namely prubsn and aia. Both suggests me to take two separate takaful policies (one for medical and one for death&CI) for more coverage at lower cost.

The plans are as follows:

1) prubsn
anugerah+: 10k (death/tpd), 300k annual (medical), level term payment = RM247
warisan+: 350k (death/tpd), 250k (CI) = RM151
add-on: deductable 300 and waiver
TOTAL = RM398

2) aia
a-life ikhtiar: 20k (death/tpd), 300k annual (medical) = RM201
a-life legasi: 350k (death/tpd), 250k (CI) = RM364
add-on: deductable 500 and waiver
TOTAL = RM565

Could someone here comment whether the medical limit is suffice for at least 10 years ahead?
And is it true that aia is generally more expansive?
And which plan is the best?
Is it alright if I choose a-life ikhtiar for medical and warisan+ for death/tpd/CI?

Btw, I am 34, M, nonsmoker, class 1 occup.

I would hardly believe the price difference is over RM200.

It's best for you to disclose the full quote on Warisan+ before I can comment fairly.

Additional info, the Warisan+ sustainability age is quoted as 55 instead of 70. Do you think that this could be the reason of lower price quoted? What is sustainability age anyway?

Might want to request for individual plan & compare yourself.
Generally should be higher cost if separate policies.

I did received quotation for individual plan. It is pricier.
