Hi all, i'm facing issue on my car loan auto debit for Maybank Hire Purchase Loan i made. This month, January 2021 i paid early rm640 installment of my car through (Transfer own account-> Maybank Hire Purchase). I select my installment value which is 640. But upon the due by end of january the auto debit still cut from my account balance. Can i call them for cancel the transaction so they return my money back? Pkp oo don't have much money but this month become double installment. Else can next month i not left money in balance then auto debit wouldn't able to cut and installment wouldn't charge late payment as i have advanced paid?

Avoid using auto debit for loans, then you avoid all these overlapping issues. Do it manually each month.

Maybank is like that one. You call their customer service and explain it to them. It takes some time for the refund.

auto debit (SI) will run as long as there is enough funds to cover.
when you don't have enough funds it will charge you a failure fee of few bucks.

when there is auto debit don't bother to pay manually.

I remembered paying my car loan in advance mistakenly. Called the car loan bank and they told me I can skip payments that is enough to be covered by the advanced payment.

So you can reset your auto debit to start paying in March since u already paid for Feb.

Haha in your dreams. You think this is full flexi housing loan? You pay more means you pay advanced only and don’t affect the interest that the bank charges you.
