Actually I think msians was equally or way more sceptical about geely couple of years back right before geely bought protonPeople would rather Honda or Toyota
But when this x70 came in, the good review and etc, it really gave people a lot of good impression and the lasting good report for a year plus till to date
I believe people are still sceptical of geely, but no more are they sceptical of proton
The Chinese are like this. They usually are more influence by the review from friends
