Hi there, I have a male tabby cat , which "walked in" to our home since December. Long story short, owner of the cat was not found despite post photos of the cat inside RA Whatsapp group, so I decided to adopt him.

Then my wife decided to go back to our 2nd home, which is an apartment. I was ready to bring him, but wife is against it, so left him back in the house.

So every 1-2 days (yes I know its not right) I will go back to the first home and feed him, and even take him for an outdoor walk . I also ensure he gets plenty of water.

Yes he loves me very much with all the headbutting , especially today he is very affectionate.
I also care for him.

My only main problem - He frequently gives love bite on my legs.
And today when I ignored him for just a while (just to do my stuff), he bite my foot so hard that my foot had abit of bleeding sad.gif - I already put some Calamine yellow lotion so that it doesn't get poisoned.

In fact I noticed he followed me alot, sometimes even tried to "chase" me and few near attempts to bite me.

Is it a sign of he miss me very much and yet he is bored? hmm.gif
I tried to "play" with him, bought him a teaser wand toy , but that doesn't seem to work on him.
But if I stroke him, he is fine with it, though need to see his mood also.

yea these @&@%$+ male cats are most like how you've described, even tho neutered @ a very young age.
Those that likes to bite are the dominant types, n they will bully other cats.

I don't know about solutions. unless you have ways to tire them to death.

Yeah I have a one as described. I also looking for the solution. Bite me until I bleed like crazy. I really dunno what to do with him. Release him to porch, within an hour ready to pick fight with outside cat. Zzz. Now is self isolation in room like prison

Mine does not bully other cats. Because he is already neutered (verified by vet doctor) . So he doesn't really socialise with other cats even though nearby have other cats.

@IpohGuyz - Sad to say , mine attacked me recently, bite me on the face, near the right eye, when I stroke him too much. Bleeding until I had to drive to the nearest clinic to have it bandaged and obtained antibiotic pills.
It all happen in a split second - He was very affectionate, loving, then within a split second mutate into a beast and bite me. rclxub.gif

Then I google up, he has a condition of "Petting-Induced or Overstimulation Aggression ". meaning that some cats don't like too much stroking / sayang2 at their fur. Yes, they love to be cared, but too much and it will trigger them to be annoyed.
Really need to Google alot to learn about their habits and what to avoid.

So from then on, I am extra careful now - Read his early signs. If his tail is swinging left and right, best not to touch him.
He rarely hiss, but he will meow at me first.
Must really read his early warning signs. Meow first..if still ignored, then he will take his paw and swipe at me.

Secondly, if he is way too bored, like mine, at one time, will even oddly "meow + attack" his own tail. Sigh, I should had really taken note of that sign before he bite me.
But now he is fine. And so is my "bite wound" .

Self isolation is okay to punish him, but not too long either.
