QUOTE(Aqi_Remz @ Sep 21 2021, 09:36 AM) Is it worth it to invest in an automatic water fountain to replace my cat's water bowl? Just asking if it is more sanitary than a regular water bowl. if it can make ur cat drink more.that is the main aim. make cat drink more. the water circulate. seldom changge , kena cat saliva, unless u change water everyday. |

there is always risk , d cat will climb n fall over.
they do stoopid things, n unpredictable. so is up to the owner to decide, n access the cat temperament. good example is , the cat tht can hang on the shoulder of the biker owner.. how many cats can do that?? lol.. ![]() This post has been edited by basilisk: Sep 22 2021, 01:06 PM |

QUOTE(cheerz~ @ Oct 13 2021, 04:13 PM) Hi there, can I know where is the place where they charge rm90 for spaying? i p m u in a while..Is vaccination needed before spaying? I want to bring a stray for spaying. The cat already gave birth twice. She got pregnant for the second time very soon after the first birth Thankfully, all the kittens have found their home now. if you manage to go there, do update here.. yes before 3 months after giving birth, mom cat will get pregnant again, This post has been edited by basilisk: Oct 13 2021, 09:55 PM |

QUOTE(Acoen @ Nov 23 2021, 02:59 PM) Hi, i have adopted one stray cat currently about 6-7 months old. since it is stray cat u can have it tested for fiv/felv,The cat had completed the FVRCP vaccination. Vet has recommended vaccination for leukaemia. My cat mostly indoor as currently staying at an apartment. Shall i send the cat for leukaemia vaccination? if completely indoor and not mix with other unknown cat, then very unlikely to get felv , fiv. QUOTE(jaswwp @ Nov 28 2021, 11:11 AM) Does anyone have recommendation for automatic cat feeder? Plan to use it when I am away for longer hours because my cats are used to eating a few meals a day instead of the typical 2 times (Spoiled already due to 1 year of prolonged MCO) I dont want the unlimited food type because they are too greedy. those good quality ones / expensiveshould be ok. y not let them eat 2meals, they should do fine, unless hv special needs. |

QUOTE(spunkberry @ Jan 7 2022, 11:18 AM) contrary to popular belief, they don't actually get kickbacks. would be best if we stop perpetuating that myth. vet clinics dont rcv kickbacks??i cant be too sure, vet like animal hospital in jln tun razak, they are the sole distributor / importer of hills' and of course they wana sell that to their customer, cos the company will benefit.. myth or no myth its all bout bisness these days.. pet shop linked to vets etc.. segar vets, long time femes clinic, its a pet shop and a vet .. dowan untung? no untung? lol.. ![]() This post has been edited by basilisk: Jan 7 2022, 12:33 PM |

QUOTE(kizwan @ Jan 10 2022, 12:34 PM) Is the thing we use to disinfect the premise for covid, effective as well for the parvo virus? based on search online,Cremation with petrol might be suitable? I read high temperature effectively killed the virus, no? This is my friend's cat. His shop cat. My house nearer & have land to buried dead cat but I want to do it properly because my neighbours cats roam at my land. My cats are 100% house cat. I have posted this everywhere yesterday because I want to settle it yesterday. Even FB groub that talk about parvo also don't reply. Only you reply. Local people also know how to treat parvo, even know which grass to use but when asked how to care the dead cat, all said just throw in the bin or buried. Lol no wonder lots of cat get parvo. any object/material tht's been in contact with the cat needs to be disinfected/cleaned Bleach can kill the virus, easy n cheap stuff. for the carcass, as long as nothing /animal can touch it, chances off the virus spreadin is can say zero la, thts y need to bury deep, so nothing can korek it out. virus wont crawl out of the ground.. lol.. cremation, is burnin the flesh into ashes.. tht u need bahan api like wood to continuosly burn it, so abit leceh.. |

QUOTE(kizwan @ Jan 10 2022, 12:39 PM) BTW, is it normal for vet just do physical checkup & said "I think parvo virus", give you antibiotics (for 120 ringgit) & send you home? They don't test? This is what happen to my friend. well, this is just short cut way, maybe the vet don't have the test kit or lazy to do it..This happens once with my cat. The vet just did physical check & said maybe sporo. Even though I said this cat was 100% house cat. Take out very fancy syringe, I think it is glass syringe & inject it to my cat. Brought him home. A couple hours later he dead with blood coming out from the anus. macam2 ada, esp in town not many vet clinic. so they cincai do lo.. sad.. |
