How are you guys dealing with worms in the tummy? Feeding Drontal to my cat is a chore and more often than not, it's a stressful experience on both sides and the cat will foam all over her mouth. :S

indoor cat nonid to deworm so often,
drontal is not cheap last time rm5/pil now almost rm7.

after observing many times at vet, better to have another person helping to hold the cat in sitting position and one person open the cat mouth, make sure nose is pointing up ceiling, drop the pill into the end of the tongue, close the mouth maintin the nose up position, until cat swallow naturally, only in the nose up head position the cat will swallow.

all those utube vids, those cats have ultra good behaviour, ask them to try on some kucing kampung / stray cat n see.. lol..

My indoor cat has been getting worms every 3 months now. lol. i think something to do with my in law's house having dogs as well and don't know what else she ingested at night.

Gotten Drontal at aroun4ish from Shopee from a legit seller. Am trying to see if there are alternative methods to prevent worms. I saw this and read it is pretty effective:

drontal is cheaper compare to spot on treatment like broadline. revolution cant kill tapeworm.

Is Acana along the lines of Farmina? The price/kg seems to be almost similar and if Farmina has better quality of food, I might switch.

Farmina is 98% animal protein. Mean crude protein 44% x 98% will give you 43.12% of animal protein.

Acana is 75% animal protein. Mean 36% x 75% will give you only 27% of animal protein. The rest of it comes from vegetables.

That's why Farmina is expensive with that kind of booster protein. But feeding volume is less than Acana.

Apparently, Farmina now is now one of the highest range in the world.

Ah.....thanks for the detailed info. I specifically moved away from too high a protein for the cat cause I am worried about potential kidney problems in the future. I moved from Orijen to Acana for that purpose. I'll prolly stick with Acana for now. Been trying to get cat to be more than 4kg but apparently she's more vain that us humans. lol

You can give 1 meal wet diet, then 1 meal kibbles

nd prime 10kg ~34x, ~34/kg only,

farmina claims 98% animal protein, that is alot, even orijen doesnt dare to claim tht high.
but they use just chicken not like orijen all sorts of this that rojak.

which one is better u need to test got any notable difference.

what put me off the the price of 1.5kg nd is too expensive/over price.
so i wont buy it.
if buy big 10kg, risk cat dun like.. then sell to who... lol..
