The one column in the middle of the hall bothers me so much I can't see anything else to give opinion

If you build from scratch, why dont you add option F by combining design/layout that you like from other 5.
I like option A but prefer with B dry area.. |

I am renovating this house so the columns are fixed in place, The layout options are given by my architect, as he thinks these are the possible layout without significant demolition. The kitchen island doubles up as bar area. I am still undecided whether its better to climb up the stairs and meet the dining table first, or the island/bar area first. i thought about option e but my architect said it will feel to empty unless i put something like a piano or kids play area. The measurement of the room is 10m wide so it may look cramped on picture but bigger on site |
