Exactly.

Don't ever count Intel out.

Only this year they're going to be moving full steam ahead for 10nm desktop CPUs (apparently Xeon already started).

In terms of gaming performance, Intel is still giving AMD a run for its money albeit the gap is minimal now with AMD 5000 series.

In a leaked email I read months ago, it seems oldtards still pushing 14nm for years (same people working in 14nm) mostly India team that stubbornly refuse to move away. They find it comforting to stick and update 14nm...

Until recently Bob Swan push more team members for 10nm but production yield issues really giving Intel a headache. 2021 hopefully will see this improve and by end of 2021, we should have 10nm Intel CPU for desktop.
