Yea im using R9F firmware too. Same prob with alarms. Sounds super loud when choosing tones to set as the alarm but when it rings.... i could barely hear it. But the sound of my phone's vibration woke me up instead

Yea. Fring works just fine on mine. Im using singapore latest firmware too (R9F)

Using my P990i in the Uk now. Just moved here for further studies. Still have my hotlink simcard in. I realize that in terms of international roaming the P990i isnt as good compared to my N70. I tried both phones and seems that most of the time when switching between networks the p990i gets the "emergency calls only" network. But on my N70 it switches almost instantly and i never got a an emergency call signal before. Any feedback?

WOw. Sounds serious. Er... so im not sure if there's any code to reformat(like the ones on series 60) but if u're really concerned maybe u should bring it in to a shop to get it diagnosed.
