No idea. I am so disappointed when I learned that the batt that I got is 950 mAh instead of the 1100 mAh version.

regarding the battery... p990 come with bst 33... but can use bst 40(p1 battery) with no problem, i tested it... just the battery cover got 1 black sticker need to remove... cox bst 40 tick a bit... but still can use it.... im looking one

bst 34 i not very sure... bst 40 is using by p1.... original battery of course very expensive

i have a p990i too, but i have big problem, my touchscreen not work like usual, when i touch, it don't respond anything, but screen normal, i can sms, and call like a normal. only touch screen problem, anyone can suggest me where to repair it ?, how much to make touch screen work...?

i have a similar problem as well,
but mine is like the sensor is screwed up or something, when i tap the top it responds to the things below.
i tried acessing the srevice menu's and on the touch screen test i tried drawing some lines.
the top most line would only appear at the bottom half of the screen. and so i trieds drawing up some stuff again. it is like it's compressed or something.
is this a software problem? cause i'm sure the touch screen works, just that it's not at the right place.
i tried calibrating it but it will just give me a "too far from point A'
pressing the jog dail to set to default doesn't work as well.
warranty is JUST over, like 10 days? damn man

sent my phone for repair to SE service centre at plaza berjaya... the bloody avenue K 1 which i usually go to closed down already.
but the shit thing is i went to collect my phone today at 10.20 but they are not open...
but the sign show open from 10 to 7p.m.
wtf i waited till 11.00 only the open then they say change the LCD screen and cost me RM480.
this is gonna be the last SE i'm buying...
Product full of problems and then the service centre close down larr open late larr...it reflects the company attitude
