J&T Express was founded in 2015 by Jet Lee and Tony Chen (former CEO and current of Oppo, respectively); hence, the company is called J&T.[5] After starting in Indonesia in 2015, it has already expanded to Malaysia, Vietnam in 2017, the Philippines and Thailand in 2018, Singapore and Cambodia in 2019, and China in 2020.



Its expansion in Singapore, Cambodia, and China are still under review. Future expansion remains unknown as they are still doing market research.[1] J&T Express has seen a rapid increase in business in Indonesia in the last years and has become the fourth biggest parcel company in Indonesia.[7]
