i recently started using Listerine's Mouthwash and noticed that my mouth develops white gooey substances - it looks like pieces of my inner mouth skin layer (those that got scraped off from eating things that are too hard) but only in larger amount and stickier.

is it something that i should be worried about?

Change to Oradex antibacterial mwash n see if it's light enough...or use Bactidol diluted 50% with water.

oradex contains chlorhexidine. So, it's not to be used regularly.

thanks for the reply. are you saying that the reason why my mouth developed these "tissues" is because Listerine is too "corrosive"?

I also use Listerine. I use mostly mint and green tea, occassionally original flavor. Green tea flavor is milder than other flavors.

yeap. i bought and use the Green Tea one as well because it feels less "corrosive" while gargling however doesn't seem to be the case.

Well actually I hadnt' any problem. Probably there are the reasons such as stress, lack of sleep, weakend immune system, etc? Anyway wish you fix the problem soon.
